VPS servers in Bucharest and Frankfurt, on LXC or KVM

Five VPS families: Spark on LXC containers with shared resources, and Flex, Core, Compute and Ruby on KVM with dedicated resources. The first four run in Bucharest, Ruby in Frankfurt. Pick a plan, then add RAM, NVMe and IPv4 in the configurator. The smallest plan, Spark 1, costs €3 a month.

Virtualization

Container or VPS?

Virtualization comes with the family. You do not pick it in the configurator. Spark runs on LXC containers. Flex, Core, Compute and Ruby run on KVM.

LXC

Spark

A container on the host kernel, with almost no virtualization overhead. You share CPU and I/O with the other containers on the node.

  • Lowest entry price of the five families
  • Starts in about a second, reinstalls just as fast
  • Root access inside the container
  • No Windows, the kernel is shared
  • No custom kernel and no kernel modules

KVM

FlexCoreComputeRuby

A VPS with its own kernel and virtual hardware, on dedicated resources. Any OS that boots on a physical server boots here too.

  • Runs Windows Server with RDP
  • Your own kernel: Docker, WireGuard, nested containers
  • Mount your own ISO and install what you want
  • Strict isolation from the other tenants
  • Slightly more overhead than a container

Templates

The operating system comes installed

You pick the template in the configurator and the server boots with it installed. When you reinstall from the panel, you can pick a different one.

Ubuntu

20.04 · 22.04 · 24.04 LTS

The default template. Five years of security updates per LTS release and the most packages of the three.

Debian

11 Bullseye · 12 Bookworm · 13 Trixie

Small base install, packages that rarely change. Good for a service you want to leave running for years.

Windows Server

2022

On the KVM families: Flex from Flex 3, Core from Core 3, Compute on every plan and Ruby from Ruby 2. The license and RDP access are part of the plan price.

GameReady™ OS

Debian 12 (Bookworm)

On the Ruby family, in Frankfurt. Games and tools you install with one command each:

  • Minecraft
  • FiveM
  • CS2
  • MariaDB
  • phpMyAdmin
  • MongoDB

GameReady™ OS

Windows Server 2022

On the Ruby family, from Ruby 2 (6 GB of memory). The same games and tools as on Debian, with the game files, apps and a browser already installed:

  • Minecraft
  • FiveM
  • CS2
  • MariaDB
  • phpMyAdmin
  • MongoDB

Every plan includes

Root access

Log in with an SSH key or a password. If SSH stops answering, the panel has a console in the browser.

IPv6 included

Every VPS gets an IPv6 subnet at no charge: a /64 in Bucharest, a /120 on Ruby in Frankfurt. Up to five extra IPv4 addresses can be added from the configurator.

DDoS filtering

Volumetric filtering at the network edge, on by default for every IP. You pay nothing extra for attacks, however long they last.

Enterprise NVMe & ECC

Datacenter NVMe in every node and ECC memory throughout: DDR4 on the Xeon families, DDR5 on Ruby.

Optional backups

Daily snapshots, kept off-site for seven days. Turn them on in the configurator or later in the panel.

No setup fee

You pay monthly, with no minimum term. You can cancel before the next cycle starts.

neo_FREE web hosting, on request

With any VPS you can ask for a neo_FREE web hosting plan at no cost: one domain, 10 GB of NVMe, Plesk and a free SSL certificate. See web hosting

Talk to us

A virtual server with the operating system you choose and root access. It runs on a physical server shared with other customers, and on it you install what you need: a site, a database, a bot or a game server. Unlike web hosting, you manage the server yourself.

Spark 1: 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 20 GB NVMe for €3 a month, in Bucharest. It is an LXC container, enough for a bot or a small service. The cheapest VPS on KVM is Flex 1: 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 40 GB NVMe for €5 a month.

For a single small service, a Discord bot or a TeamSpeak, Spark (LXC) is enough and costs less. Docker, WireGuard, a custom kernel or Windows all need a KVM family: Flex, Core, Compute or Ruby.

Plans differ by core count, so we do not sell cores on their own. Memory, NVMe and IPv4 you can add to any plan. If you need more cores, move to the next plan from the panel, at any time.

Yes, from the panel. An upgrade applies right away and you pay the prorated difference. A downgrade applies from the next billing date. Your data stays where it is either way.

You pay nothing extra. When the monthly allowance runs out, we cap the port at the speed listed for that family. The server keeps running.

It depends on the family. Spark, Flex, Core and Compute run in Bucharest (NXDATA-1). Ruby runs in Frankfurt (maincubes FRA-01), on Ryzen 9 7950X processors.

Yes, there is no separate license charge on top of the plan price. Windows Server is available on the KVM families: Flex from Flex 3, Core from Core 3, Compute on every plan and Ruby from Ruby 2.
